Pancakes are one of the best foods to eat as breakfast or as a snack. This recipe will tell you exactly how to make a lightly crisp pancake!

Ingredients:
Ten Servings
- 1 ½ cups of flour
- ¼ cup of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 3 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups of milk
- 3 teaspoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- *Optional: Mashed bananas
- *Optional: Chocolate chips
First Up: Dry Ingredients!
For this step, you will be needing: 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/2 a teaspoon of salt, and 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder. Make sure the ingredients are mixed well! Then create a well for the mixture, so you can add in the wet ingredients.
Making It into Batter!
Mix the 1 1/2 cups of milk and the egg together. Pour the mixture into the well you created in the dry ingredients!
Next, melt 3 teaspoons of butter. Make sure the butter is still clumpy and isn’t fully liquid!
Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix the mixture together until it’s batter! You can now add mashed bananas and chocolate chips for more flavor!
Pancake on the Pan
Lightly oil the pan on a medium-low heat. Turn the heat to medium and pour about a cup of pancake batter into the pan and let it sit until the bottom side is lightly brown. Get the spatula all the way under the pancake and turn it quickly to the other side. Make sure to not take too long on the other side because it is already half-cooked. Then serve warm! Enjoy!
